The owners of a white German Shepherd dog, who wouldn’t let the San Diego police into his yard, received a hilarious note from the officers!
Ex-guard dog, Casper, was having none of it! He bravely guarded his home and flatly refused to let the officers in.

Dianne St. John and Scott Erreca arrived home in Tierrasanta on Saturday, March 21, 2015 and found a note from the police. The note read:
Your burglar alarm went off at 2:35 p.m. Coverage was a window. We tried to check the back but your dog (a 105-pound ex-guard dog) didn’t like that idea. On a side note, I can still run and jump a 6-foot fence as good as I could in the academy 28 years ago! Nice doggy. Officer T. Bostedt, SDPD.
The couple had a good laugh and Erreca later tweeted their thank-yous.
The officer’s response was further cause for laughter. He replied:
Your dog made for quite a few laughs at my expense. LOL… I’m glad we weren’t wearing body cameras and it didn’t make it to YouTube.
This is one for the books! It’s so nice to see the kind and gentle side of law enforcement!
As for the need for a burglar alarm, seems their loyal, white German Shepherd has it covered!
Good dog, Casper!
